  • 1 cup fresh spinach packed
  • ½ ripe banana
  • ¾ –1 cup almond milk or coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon freshly grated ginger optional
  • Ice as needed (optional)

Instructions

  • Wash spinach thoroughly and pat dry.
  • Add almond milk or coconut water to the blender first.
  • Add spinach, frozen pineapple, banana, lemon juice, and ginger.
  • Blend on high for 30–60 seconds until completely smooth.
  • Add ice if desired and blend briefly again.
  • Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Lemon juice is key—it gives the smoothie its fresh “spring” flavor.
  • Use only half a banana to keep the smoothie light and crisp.
  • For extra brightness, add a pinch of lemon zest.
  • Best enjoyed right after blending.
