Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries hulled
  • 2 tablespoons dried goji berries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup almond milk or milk of choice
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • ½ cup ice cubes if using fresh strawberries
  • Optional Garnish
  • Fresh strawberry slices
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon
  • A few whole goji berries

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Ingredients
  • If using fresh strawberries, wash and hull them.
  • Place the dried goji berries in warm water and soak for 5–10 minutes to soften.
  • Drain the goji berries before blending.
  • Blend the Smoothie
  • Add the following ingredients to a blender:
  • Strawberries
  • Soaked goji berries
  • Frozen banana
  • Almond milk
  • Add the spices and flavorings:
  • Cinnamon
  • Ground ginger
  • Vanilla extract
  • Add honey or maple syrup if additional sweetness is desired.
  • Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  • Adjust the Texture
  • If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk.
  • If using fresh fruit and a colder smoothie is desired, add ice cubes and blend again.
  • Serve
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass.
  • Garnish with strawberry slices, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or a few goji berries.
  • Serve immediately.
