  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1 cup oat milk
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 –2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey optional
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • Optional Garnish
  • Light dusting of matcha powder
  • Drizzle of vanilla syrup

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Matcha
  • Sift 1 teaspoon matcha powder into a small bowl to remove clumps.
  • Add 2 tablespoons hot water (not boiling).
  • Whisk the mixture using a matcha whisk or small whisk until smooth and slightly frothy.
  • Add Flavor
  • Stir in:
  • Vanilla extract
  • Maple syrup or honey (if desired)
  • Mix until fully combined.
  • Assemble the Latte
  • Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour oat milk over the ice.
  • Slowly pour the prepared matcha mixture over the milk.
  • Serve
  • Stir gently before drinking.
  • Optionally garnish with a light dusting of matcha powder or a drizzle of vanilla syrup.
