Ingredients
  

  • Core Ingredients:
  • 14 oz 400g firm or extra-firm tofu
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or plant-based butter
  • Seasonings:
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • Optional Add-Ins:
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers chopped
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes
  • Avocado for serving

Instructions
 

  • Drain and press tofu to remove excess moisture.
  • Crumble tofu into bite-sized pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add tofu and cook for a few minutes.
  • Stir in turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Add vegetables if using and cook until softened.
  • Stir in nutritional yeast for added flavor.
  • Serve warm with toast or sides.

Notes

  • Use firm tofu for best texture.
  • Do not overcook to keep it soft and fluffy.
  • Add a splash of plant milk for creaminess if desired.
  • Season well for best flavor.
  • Store in fridge up to 3–4 days and reheat gently.
