- Core Ingredients:
- 14 oz 400g firm or extra-firm tofu
- 1 tbsp olive oil or plant-based butter
- Seasonings:
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- Optional Add-Ins:
- 1/2 cup bell peppers chopped
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1/2 cup mushrooms
- 1/2 cup tomatoes
- Avocado for serving
Drain and press tofu to remove excess moisture.
Crumble tofu into bite-sized pieces.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add tofu and cook for a few minutes.
Stir in turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Add vegetables if using and cook until softened.
Stir in nutritional yeast for added flavor.
Serve warm with toast or sides.
