Ingredients

  • cups fresh strawberries washed, hulled, and sliced
  • cups Greek yogurt plain or lightly sweetened
  • ¾ cup granola crunchy, not overly sweet
  • Flavor Boosters
  • 1 –2 tsp honey or maple syrup optional
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract optional
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional, to brighten berries
  • Optional Toppings
  • Chia seeds or ground flaxseed
  • Slivered almonds or chopped nuts

Instructions
 

  • Prep
  • Wash and slice strawberries evenly.
  • If strawberries are tart, toss lightly with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
  • Layer
  • Spoon a layer of yogurt into the bottom of a glass or bowl.
  • Add a layer of sliced strawberries.
  • Sprinkle with granola.
  • Repeat
  • Continue layering yogurt, strawberries, and granola until the container is full.
  • Finish
  • Top with strawberries and a light drizzle of honey if desired.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use thick Greek yogurt for clean, defined layers.
  • Add granola just before serving to keep it crunchy.
